Abstract

Workplace spirituality and its relationship with employee engagement have gained substantial attention over the past decades. By focusing on integrating spiritual values into the workplace to boost motivation and enhance employee performance, this area has emerged as a vital topic in human resource management. Studies suggest that spirituality positively influences employee motivation, commitment, and engagement. However, a significant gap in the existing research lies in the lack of bibliometric analyses and comprehensive reviews of research trends. This study employs bibliometric analysis using data from the Scopus database to explore research trends in workplace spirituality and employee engagement from 2010 to 2024. The results indicate a steady growth in publications within this field, with "workplace spirituality" and "spiritual leadership" receiving the most attention. Additionally, the study identifies research gaps and underscores the importance of empirical and comparative studies on the cultural dimensions of spirituality, presenting opportunities for future research
